Friends! I am so excited we are here. It’s 2019 and the start of a new wedding season. This one is starting off with a real lovely one for us all.
In order to make the most of time with their family, Jess and Doug decided to move their wedding from July to March with just two weeks notice. With just one week before their wedding, I was asked to join in the celebration and shoot their wedding film.
From the moment I arrived and started filming, everyone met me with a smile and I just knew it was going to be a beautiful day. Jess and Doug’s people, with just two weeks notice, came from Grosse Pointe from Zurich (Switzerland), Geneva (Switzerland), Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Florida, the Carolinas, DC, Maryland, Massachusetts, and what seems like everywhere in between… And they still had so much energy to celebrate with the newlyweds.
When I asked Jess to describe their love story, she said this:
“We were introduced through mutual friends in Denver and bonded over our love of the Roaring Fork Valley (Colorado). We fell in love somewhere on I70- driving between Denver and Aspen- in pursuit of snow, sun, and some of our favorite people.”
“All of it! We felt so incredibly loved and supported by our family and friends throughout the entire weekend.”
