Sarah and Mike’s wedding was special because they got married in the town where we live. Prior to the wedding we got to have a a visit to our local Tavern to chat about the day, and get to know each other and it was so much fun.

We get to go to a lot of really beautiful weddings. A lot of times, we’re heading up to Traverse City, or Charlevoix, and it really IS Northern Michigan beautiful. But this day, we got to experience beauty right in our back yard at Hilltop Views Farm. And it was magical.

Michael is from the UK, so when his family was in town for the holidays they decided to get married to make sure their closest and most important family could witness their vows to each other. They didn’t want to wait and chance the pandemic ruining their chance at all being together and witnessing it in the summer. What a special day this was to reconfirm their love for each other, and to celebrate their vows once again.

I loved all the British and American elements of this wedding, blended together. I especially just love this farm just down the road from our home. Thank you for having us as a part of your day Sarah and Mike! Enjoy!
