When Annaliese and Trent reached out to me about shooting their Mackinac Island wedding at Mission Point Resort, I couldn’t wait to hear all the details. I don’t have to tell you that Mackinac Island is amazing, or beautiful, or fun, so I certainly won’t try and explain how beautiful a Mackinac Island wedding can be. What I love about this place is this- we’ve shot several weddings on island and every single one is different. They can even be at the same hotel, yet the day will take you to unexpected and beautiful places.
This wedding was no different. Annaliese lost her Brother just weeks before her wedding. This made celebrating a wedding a different and unique situation that no one really knows how to deal with. I loved that Annaliese and Trent incorporated pieces of her brother into their day, and made sure he was still a part of it. It was so special to be a part of.
They also gave me some behind the scenes footage of some fun they had before we arrived, that I was able to incorporate into their film. Thank you both for having me document this day for you. It meant the world to me!
